Who To Stake as PokerStars Welcomes Players to EPT Cyprus

This week sees PokerStars return to the beautiful island of Cyprus. With the European Poker Tour festival in town at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa, there are plenty of events to suit anyone’s pocket taking place and many players who are at the felt will be selling pieces of their action. We’ve taken a look at the official staking page for EPT Cyprus and sniffed out some more value as some poker greats take to the European felt.

It’s Mullur Time

In an exciting new addition to the ranks of major poker tournament winners on PokerStake, Samuel Mullur is selling action to a number of event at EPT Cyprus with markup between just 1.02 and 1.04. Mullur’s tournament record is an enviable one, with his GG MILLION$ High Roller victory back in December last year earning him a career-high score of $2.7 million.

That $25,000-entry event proved that Mullur has the chops to deal with anyone at any level, with the former WSOP Main Event champion Damian Salas, multiple WSOP bracelet winner Adrian Mateos and Artur Martirosian providing stiff competition close to the finish line.

Winning in both Triton Poker Series and WPT Alpha8 Trifecta High Roller events in March and July of this year, it feels like another big result is right around the corner for Mullur and with him selling to events such as the EPT Cyprus $50,000 High Roller Event #24, $25,000 Second Chance Event #41 and the $20,000 NLHE Event #12, Mullur could be about to make you maximum profit.

Fast Money Going for a Song

Dietrich Fast is, as anyone will know who has seen him in action, an entertaining player at the live felt. He is also a big winner and with over $2 million in winnings on the WPT and WSOP tours alone, is a big threat in any big-ticket tournament.

With a slightly higher markup of between 1.07 and 1.30, Fast is sure to sell fast too and is going to go hard in Mystery Bounty, High Roller and Eureka Events, as well as being a lock for investment in the EPT Cyprus Main Event , which has a $5,300 buy-in in 2024.

Stephen Song is another elite level professional selling action to his EPT Cyprus package. At a markup of between 1.04 and 1.07, Song is selling strictly to three events, with two bullets on offer for Event #35, the NLHE event costing $25,000 to play, Event #41, the NLHE Second Chance tournament costing the same amount and Event #50, which costs $15,200 and is in a Turbo Knockout format.

Song is terrific value and has over $8 million in live tournament earnings. With huge victories on the EPT before, Song’s biggest ever win was when he took down the 2024 EPT Barcelona Main Event just six weeks ago for $1.4 million. Beating a final table featuring his heads-up opponent Andrew Hulme and other stars such as regular PokerStake player David Coleman, Song’s victory was the biggest of his career, but he has a slew of cashes in his recent rear-view, with two six-figure results in July in the WSOP and the ARIA High Roller Series.

Other Players Selling Action to Cyprus

Victoria Livschitz is once again selling action as she looks to build on two of the most impressive first years in anyone’s high roller career in poker. Livschitz is selling with no markup at all to events such as the $1,100-entry NLHE Freezeout Event #47, the Event #66 Last Chance Super Hyper Turbo event and the $3,000 Mystery Bounty Event #40.

Frenchman Antoine Saout is selling at markup of between 1.10 and 1.25 to just two events but both represent value. Saout is offering to Event #50, the Turbo KO event costing $15,200 to play and Event #56, the EPT High Roller with a $10,300 buy-in. Having cashed eight times in the last four months alone, Saout, who came in the top five of not one but two WSOP Main Events in 2009 and 2017 respectively, will be a massive threat in Cyprus.

Ilija Savevski is selling at a markup of 1.15 to the EPT Cyprus Main Event alone, with two bullets on offer, but another player has a much fuller package. Austrian crusher Jessica Teusl is selling to five EPT Cyprus events at a markup of 1.00 to 1.25, with her action already selling fast. With a WSOP bracelet to her name already, the talented Teusl could well be one to watch at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa.
