In Week 12, keasyemerged victorious in the DraftKings Millionaire Maker, turning his $20 buy-in into $1 million. Not too bad for a weekend’s work, right? He scored 256.70 points and his lineup had a balanced mix of chalk and low-owned players. Let’s take a look at which players made keasy a millionaire:
QB Russell Wilson – 3.3% owned, 38.2 points – Wilson slaughtered Pittsburgh’s secondary for five touchdowns and 345 passing yards. He hooked up with WR Doug Baldwin for three scores and was very low-owned.
RB Adrian Peterson – 23.6% owned, 35.7 points – Peterson has quietly been putting up productive week after productive week. In Week 12, he ran for two scores and 158 yards.
RB Thomas Rawls– 28.4% owned, 14.1 points – The chalk play of the week, Rawls largely took a back seat to Wilson, only netting 81 rushing yards, but saved his fantasy day with a TD.
WR Doug Baldwin – 2.7% owned, 41.5 points – Baldwin and Wilson put up career days. Baldwin found the end zone three times on six catches.
WR Odell Beckham – 39.2% owned, 32.2 points – Beckham was heavily owned, but lived up to his billing, putting up a 9-142-1 line.
WR Jarvis Landry – 2.5% owned, 38.9 points – There was doubt whether Landry would even play in Week 12, but he was active and caught 13 balls.
TE Julius Thomas – 4.4% owned, 29.6 points – Thomas had a solid outing after WR Allen Hurns was hospitalized, going 9-116-1. It doesn’t look like Hurns will be active for Week 13.
FLEX Amari Cooper – 5.1% owned, 21.5 points – After the Raiders laid an egg against the Lions in Week 11, Cooper and company handed the Titans’ underrated pass defense in Week 12. Cooper posted a 7-115 line.
DEF Chiefs – 20.3% owned, 5.0 points – This was keasy’s one down spot, but it didn’t matter, as he won the $1 million top prize anyway.
