Zodiac Bounty Million$

The weekend kicked off with a bang as the Zodiac Bounty Million$ tournament captured significant attention. A staple in the Asian poker scene, this event offered a ¥1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool for a buy-in of just ¥215. With 6,804 entrants, 605 of which survived to day 2 to battle for a share of the prize pool, which grew to ¥1,345,831.20. It took six hours and 42 minutes before ‘2024-8-9 jiehun’ claimed the top prize, earning ¥57,200.34, plus ¥29,921.49 in 1bounties. Close behind was ‘Maestro_10’, who took home ¥57,048.81and ¥26,777.71 in bounties, while ‘gacula’ earned ¥42,449.38 for finishing third and an additional ¥8,159.98 in bounties.

Omaholic Bounty MILLION$ Tournament

For fans of the Omaholic Series, the Omaholic Bounty MILLION$ was the weekend’s highlight. Offering a $250,000 guarantee for a $54 buy-in, the tournament attracted 6,064 players, pushing the prize pool to $301,259.52. After six hours and twenty minutes of fierce competition, ‘M A M bI 4’ emerged victorious for the second week in a row, securing $11,429.29 plus $16,060.13 in bounties. The runner-up, ‘afalan’, earned $11,390.46 plus $3,382.02 in bounties, while ‘givemejpthx’ finished third with $7,970.56 plus $1,159.89 in bounties.

Global Million$

The Global MILLION$ tournament, with its $50 buy-in and $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, consistently attracts a large crowd, and this week was no different. With 21,743 participants, the prize pool reached $1,000,178. After over eight hours of play, ‘Victoria Fox’ claimed first place, winning $80,947.76. Second place was captured by ‘yingwushiwan’, who took home $60,583.28, while ‘Bullseye50’ walked away with $45,438.88 in third.

Sunday Showdown $108 [Mystery Bounty]

Adding to the weekend’s excitement, the Sunday Showdown $108 [Mystery Bounty], which was one of the WSOP Online side events, featured a hefty $600,000 guaranteed prize pool. Attracting 6,592 participants, the total prize pool grew to $654,981.12. After just over eight and three-quarters of intense play, ‘mikitok’ emerged as the champion, earning $31,000.97, including bounties totaling $3,872, after a three-way deal. Second place went to ‘StickyBlinds’, who earned $27,023.82 plus $40,410 in bounties, and ‘isPanicoRagazzi’ took third worth $28,962.16 plus $930 in bounties. The luckiest player in the tournament was the 154th finisher ‘Thomas Hejda’ who discovered the biggest mystery bounty, earning $60,000 for the hit and $232.42 for finishing.

Sunday High Rollers Main Event

The Sunday High Rollers Main Event, boosted this week as part of the GGMillion$ week, brought high-stakes action with a $1,050 buy-in and a $500,000 guarantee. When late registration closed, 578 players had signed up, creating a prize pool of $578,000, which would be distributed among the top 81 finishers. After just over ten hours of play, ‘Fail Ivey’ secured the top prize of $88,176.99. ‘Akariee’ and ‘David Coleman’ followed in second and third, earning $67,993.49 and $52,430.14, respectively, showcasing their poker prowess.

Bounty Hunters Sunday Main Event

Another highlight of the weekend and one of the big WSOP Side Events was the Bounty Hunters Main Event. This tournament offered a $750,000 guarantee for a $54 buy-in and bounties galore. With 178,323 entrants, the prize pool reached $910,286.65. It took nearly ten and a half hours before ‘bira’ triumphed after coming to a 3-way chop with ‘BrazilianNit’ and ‘gstrike2000’. First place ‘bira’ earned $32,984.36 plus $12,543.75 in bounties. The second-place finisher, ‘BrazilianNit’ earned $34,221.80 plus $7,756.92 in bounties, while ‘gstrike2000’ claimed third place worth $30,968.63 plus $8,023.01 in bounties.

Bounty Hunters HR Main Event

Next on the schedule was another tournament that was part of GGMillion$ week, the Bounty Hunters HR Main Event, which had the biggest guarantee of the weekend, $1,250,000. When late registration closed, 3,246 poker players had paid the $525 buy-in to help create a total prize pool of  $1,623,000. After nearly eleven and a half hours of competition, ‘Andrey Uvarov’ emerged victorious, defeating ‘Uncapped’ heads-up to win $81,622.49 plus $68,421.50 in bounties. ‘Uncapped’ took home $81,620.67 plus $22,450.73 in bounties, while ‘EvilDrake’ secured third place and earned $64,855.56 plus $13,516.62 in bounties.

GGMasters Bounty $320

The GGMasters Bounty, which was another tournament that was part of the WSOP Online as a side event, offered a $400,000 guarantee with a $320 buy-in. The event attracted 1,600 players, creating a prize pool of $476,160. After just over ten and a half hours of play, ‘0ffpOzition’ claimed the title, earning $25,508.94 plus $25,508.94 in bounties. The runner-up, ‘mobiloff’ took home $25,507.17 plus $1,406.25 in bounties, while ‘Michael Acevedo’ secured third place worth $20,267.94 plus $1,650 in bounties.

GGMasters High Rollers $1,050

The final big tournament of the weekend, part of GGMillion$ Week, was the GGMasters High Rollers. With a $1,050 buy-in and a $750,000 guarantee, drew 878 players, creating a prize pool of $878,000. After nearly eleven and a half hours of play, ‘Anton Vinokurov’ claimed the top prize of $155,016.44. The runner-up, ‘LEAO QUIREZA’ earned $116,245.44, while third place ‘Drigal19’ took home $87,171.79.

GGMasters $150

The GGMasters $150 freezeout tournament capped off the weekend with a $500,000 guarantee. With 4,143 participants, the prize pool reached $571,734. After nearly twelve hours, ‘NutsCrack’ claimed victory, earning $63,956.03. Second place was claimed by ‘D Starikov’ who earned $47,957.39 while ‘Akinfejev’ took the last spot on the podium, earning $35,962.98.
