GGPoker 2024 GG World Festival – End of Week 3

As the third week of the 2024 GGPoker World Festival concludes, the atmosphere remains electric with over $140 million in guaranteed prize pool. More than 115 events have taken place since our last update, each one showcasing intense competition and thrilling victories. The festival continues to attract the best players of all levels, from low stakes to super high, making the leaderboard races even more intense as each hour passes.

Leaderboard Updates

The Super High Leaderboard of the GGPoker 2024 GG World Festival has seen notable changes this week. R Romanovskyi remains dominant for the third week in a row, boosting his points from 2,091 to 2,488, still looking strong enough to claim the C$100,000 prize in early June. Niklas Astedt retains second place with 2,130 points, closing the gap slightly. David Peters strengthens his third-place position, increasing his points from 1,596 to 1,927. Andrii Derzhypilskyi has moved up from fifth to fourth, now with 1,814 points, while Jans Arends, despite improving his score to 1,809, has dropped to fifth. Outside the top five, Bert Stevens saw a significant point increase from 1,372 to 1,678, maintaining sixth place, and Simon Mattsson increased his points to 1,485, remaining in eighth.

The High Stakes Leaderboard has experienced significant shifts this week. Jacopo Olivieri continues to lead, increasing his points from 2,865 to 3,414, maintaining his position for the C$60,000 top prize. ‘AyrtonSenn@’ remains in second place but has significantly boosted his score to 3,367 points. N Maimone has moved up from fourth to third, now with 3,154 points, pushing ‘Chicharito14’ to fourth place with 3,078 points. ‘Iambeggar’ remains steady in fifth, increasing his points to 3,013. Notable movements outside the top five include ‘EvilDrake’, who saw a significant 407 point increase to 2,844, remaining in sixth place, and Barry Hutter. Newcomer ‘panti!!’ has entered the top ten, rounding out the leaderboard with 2,594.29 points.

The Medium Stakes Leaderboard likewise sees intense competition and notable shifts this week. ‘Bowrot-’ continues to lead, increasing his points from 3,373 to 4,057, still vying for the top prize of C$40,000. ‘SzwarnyChlapiec’ remains in close contention, maintaining second place with a boost to 4,035 points. ‘Zemachess’ solidifies his third-place position, now with 3,851 points. ‘Buenaonda’ stays in fourth, improving to 3,775 points, while Jacopo Olivieri makes a significant leap from tenth to fifth place, now with 3,650 points.


In the Low Stakes Leaderboard of the GGPoker 2024 GG World Festival, ‘Maruzzz’ maintains the top spot, increasing his points to 4,363. ‘Survivor39’ has made an impressive leap from fifth to second place, boosting his points to 4,282, very much closer to the C$20,000 top prize to be awarded in June. ‘Zlurrsk’ remains in the top three, increasing his points to 4,099. Notably, ‘TrebaKesaMoneys’ has dropped from second to fifth place, while ‘Marin win’ climbs from seventh to fourth, reflecting the dynamic shifts in this fiercely competitive leaderboard.

Super High Stakes

The highlight of the week in the Super High Stakes was the $525 Global MILLION$ Mystery Bounty event, featuring a $10,070,500 prize pool and attracting 2,022 high rollers and 20,141 entries. ‘Panti!!’ emerged victorious, taking home $377,676.50 plus a $33,380 bounty. In second place, ‘LuLuNaPelusk’ earned $276,718.92 and an $8,100 bounty, while ‘BAAABUUSKIIII’ secured third with $203,262.79 and a $38,080 bounty. ‘Brigadeiro’ and ‘WZMT666’ rounded out the top five, earning $149,314.89 and $109,694.44 respectively, with bounties of $8,800 and $13,820. Chris Rudolph finished sixth, ‘B Binder’ seventh, Shane Gillis eighth, and ‘StratoPrince’ ninth, with ‘jorge8’ completing the top ten. Notably, the $1 million Mystery Bounty went to ‘d-t0x’, who finished 689th and added the million to their $1,394 winnings, while the $600,000 prize was claimed by ‘Pyra lubi sos’, who finished 16th, adding it to their $15,500 prize.

Another highlight of the week was the 181-S: $10,300 Tuesday Classic Super HR event, featuring a $730,000 prize pool that far exceeded the $400,000 guarantee. This high-stakes tournament drew 73 elite players. P Lefrancois emerged victorious, taking home $171,517.93, followed by Bert Stevens in second place with $135,783.18. Enrico Camosci secured third with $107,493.60, and ‘FMSTR20’ finished fourth with $85,097.99. T Muehloecker rounded out the top five, earning $67,368.35. Other notable finishes included Iphxneloveschin in sixth place with $53,332.58, D Smiljkovic in seventh with $42,221.07, ‘LisFlower’ in eighth with $33,424.58, and ‘pro dont come’ in ninth, taking home $26,460.72.

High Stakes

The 200-H: $1,050 Thursday Throwdown [Bounty] event was a major highlight in the High Stakes category, with a prize pool of $851,000, surpassing the guaranteed $700,000. This tournament drew 851 players and lasted over ten hours. ‘Sarcoru’ claimed the top spot, winning $51,739.80 plus a $65,886.79 bounty. Matthew Stumpf finished second, earning $51,655.84 with a $12,828.12 bounty. ‘Brassikuiskaaja’ secured third place with $38,411.11 and a $17,414.06 bounty, while ‘Walla1234’ took fourth with $28,539.37 and a $3,308.59 bounty. Samuel Mullur rounded out the top five, earning $21,204.65 plus a $6,726.55 bounty. Other notable finishes included ‘SonnyPoker’ in sixth place, ‘rickzera’ in seventh, ‘MrBobsik’ in eighth, A Ponomarev in ninth, and Mehdi Chaoui in tenth, each adding significant bounties to their winnings.

The 181-H: $1,050 Tuesday Classic HR was a key event in the High Stakes category, with a prize pool of $654,000, surpassing the $500,000 guarantee and attracting 654 players. Marius Gierse emerged victorious, taking home $95,795.90. ‘EEweedm99’ secured second place, earning $72,780.20, while Anton Suarez finished third with $55,294.57. T Muehloecker came in fourth, winning $42,009.92, and ‘Major_Serhio’ rounded out the top five with $31,916.92. Other notable finishes included ‘Don Luka Modric’ in sixth place, ‘BarbasDoProfeta’ in seventh, Milos Petakovic in eighth, Jon Proudfoot in ninth, and Felipe Ketzer in tenth, each adding significant earnings to their bankrolls.

Medium Stakes

The 200-M: $150 Thursday Throwdown [Bounty] was the biggest Medium Stakes tournament of the week, boasting a prize pool of $605,848.50, surpassing the guaranteed $500,000. This event attracted 4,343 players and lasted nearly eleven hours. ‘MrDagobert’ emerged as the champion, earning $27,433.82 plus a $19,278.70 bounty. ‘Call me Tommio’ finished second, taking home $27,372.28 and a $2,352.12 bounty. ‘Gandalf Sax Guy’ secured third place with $20,359.48 and a $5,876.27 bounty. ‘FerminTrujillo’ came in fourth, winning $15,127.04 plus a $6,005.80 bounty, while ‘oreocookie’ rounded out the top five, earning $11,239.34 plus a $6,530.94 bounty. 

The 180-M: $54 Bounty Hunters Daily Main [Deepstack] was another standout Medium Stakes event this week, featuring a $450,800 prize pool, exceeding the guaranteed $400,000. With 9,016 players competing, ‘AntCyber47’ emerged victorious, earning $17,869.07 plus a $12,570.15 bounty. ‘Mt411522’ took second place, winning $17,864.77 and a $2,699.34 bounty. ‘I AM HAVING FUN’ secured third place with $12,857.01 and a $1,385.90 bounty. ‘Golden Shark’ finished fourth, taking home $9,253.01 plus a $6,615.89 bounty, while Fernando Olimpio rounded out the top five with $6,659.27 plus a $1,746.42 bounty. 

Low Stakes

The 200-L: $25 Thursday Mini Throwdown [Bounty] was the biggest Low Stakes tournament of the week, featuring a $214,507.20 prize pool, surpassing the $200,000 guarantee. With 9,246 players, ‘RoosterCrazy’ claimed the top spot, earning $8,205.93 plus a $7,897.10 bounty. ‘Jaime Junior’ took second, winning $8,201.60 and a $706.22 bounty. ‘4Walkingdead’ secured third place with $5,902.57 plus a $1,442.15 bounty. ‘Giginko’ finished fourth, taking home $4,247.99 and a $1,058.48 bounty, while ‘I am him’ rounded out the top five with $3,057.23 and a $578.15 bounty.

The 181-L: $25 Tuesday Mini Classic was the second-biggest Low Stakes tournament of the week, featuring a $114,701 prize pool, surpassing the $100,000 guarantee. With 4,987 players competing, ‘Kugelblitz7’ emerged victorious, taking home $12,317.58. ‘MisteryMillion’ secured second place with $9,234.11, while ‘savage bunny’ finished third, earning $6,924.61.
