Poker players will descend on The Bahamas in just over a week as the World Series of Poker returns to paradise. For the second time, December will be full of bracelet events, and with 15 gold bracelets up for grabs, big names and first-timers alike will be desperate for success. WSOP Paradise is back.
PokerStake players who feature include some of the best in the business and we’ve picked five early events to make profit from in the comfort of your own home. If you need reminding of how exciting the WSOP Paradise event series is, here’s how the inaugural WSOP Paradise festival in 2023 kicked off through the lens of GGPoker Global Ambassador Daniel ‘Kid Poker’ Negreanu
Kick Off with Kessler
Allen Kessler is a WSOP legend. Winning four WSOP Circuit Rings, ‘Chainsaw’ very nearly made it five when he finished as runner-up at the recent WSOP-C event at the Grand Victoria Casino in Illinois. The opening event of the WSOP Paradise 2024 series costs $2,750 to play and Kessler is selling 50% of his action with a markup of 1.20 for the first bullet and 1.15 for the second and 1.10 for the third should he require it.
Kessler isn’t only selling to Event #1, with Event #5, the $26,000 Dealer’s Choice Championship, Event #6, the $5,300 Deepstack No Limit Hold’em event, Event #9, the $26,000 Super Main Event and Event #12, the $10,400 GGMillion Championship, all up for sale.
German Player Giuseppe Pantaleo is another player who is selling to Event #9, the Super Main Event, with a markup of 1.10 available on his $26,000 entry fee. Also up for grabs is the GGMillion Championship, with Pantaleo’s action for that event available at 1.12 markup. Pantaleo racked up a frankly insane 23 cashes in WSOP events between May and July earlier this year – he loves a bracelet event.
Trust in Jeremy and Josh
Events #2 and #3 are both huge, so if you’re planning on getting off to a profitable start then you’ll need to back top players who are used to playing against the very best – and winning. Jeremy Ausmus is exactly that guy, winning more for PokerStake investors than anybody. Ausmus, who got oh so close to WSOP glory in Las Vegas was more than a little unlucky not to take home gold in the summer and could make up for it at the first time of asking in The Bahamas.
Playing the $525,000-entry Triton Million, Ausmus is as reliable as you can get in a field of sick superstars used to taking home – and risking – seven-figure sums on a daily basis. Ausmus is selling just 5% of his action to the event and with most of a percent gone already, you’ll need to get involved quickly.
Josh Arieh has crushed at Pot Limit Omaha for many, many years and the man behind so much of PokerStake’s recent spike in popularity is putting his own package of poker events on the line in this year’s WSOP Paradise and has recent form, with three of his six WSOP bracelet wins coming very recently.
Selling to Events #3, #5, #8 and #9, Arieh is highly appealing in Event #3 for a rapid start to your profit, with his PLO Super High Roller first and second bullets on sale at just 1.05 markup. Don’t miss out.
Legends Taking on Triton Main Event
Three bona fide poker crushers are taking part in the $106,000 buy-in Triton Main Event, which at Event #7 is still in the first half of the schedule. Stephen Song is selling both a first and second bullet at markup of just 1.03 and is selling just 10% of each entry, that’s how highly he rates his own chances.
David Coleman is selling two bullets to the same event at a markup of 1.05 for bullet #1 and 1.03 for the second entry should he need it. Coleman has enjoyed a superb 2024 and will hope to continue that form in the massive event. Kristen Foxen is selling three bullets to the event, each at a markup of just 1.03. Foxen, who has moved onto four WSOP bracelets in 2024, more than any other female player in poker history, is a lock for a great performance. Results just follow her around the globe.
If you haven’t already heard, taking part in the $26,000 Super Main Event could be something of a value event for you. PokerStake will buy any unsold action to the event for the first 100 players who sign up, so if that appeals to your bankroll, don’t forget to register in time.
