GGPoker Partners With Dublin Poker Festival 2023
Satellites to €200,000-guaranteed European Deepstack Poker Championship to launch January 9
GGPoker today announces that it has partnered with the Dublin Poker Festival, one of Ireland’s most acclaimed live poker events. The world’s largest online poker room will offer online satellites to both the festival’s headline tournament, the European Deepstack Poker Championship, and the ever-popular Amateur Championship of Poker. The festival will be hosted in the Bonnington Hotel in Dublin and runs from February 16 through February 26.
The European Deepstack, now in its 15th year, features a €570 buy-in and boasts €200,000 in guaranteed prizes. Players have a choice of two Day 1s (on February 23 and February 24), with Day 2 on February 25 and a Final Day on February 26. All participants start the event with 100,000 chips, bringing extra strategic consideration to decisions taken during the event.
The Amateur Championship of Poker (ACOP) features a €300 buy-in, a €100,000 prize pool guarantee and runs from February 16 through February 19.
GGPoker players can secure their European Deepstack Poker Championship seat from January 9, with qualifier buy-ins from €1 and Road to Dublin PF European Deepstack direct satellites from €50. Further methods of qualifying may be introduced in the coming weeks.
As always, GGPoker players taking part in the European Deepstack will get added value compared to those without GGPoker accounts; GGPoker’s much-loved bubble insurance will feature, as well as live mystery bounties and GGPoker merchandise & ticket giveaways.
“We are delighted to announce this partnership with the Dublin Poker Festival and give all GGPoker players the opportunity to win their seats in some of Ireland’s best-loved poker events,” said Angela Martin, UK & Ireland Head of Marketing at GGPoker. “With hundreds of thousands in guaranteed prizes to be won and satellites starting from just €1, Dublin will be the place to be in February and we want as many GGPoker players there as possible!”
Brian Lannon of Dublin Poker Festival added: “This is a fantastic partnership for Dublin Poker Festival and we look forward to working with GGPoker, giving a wider player base the opportunity to play in this fantastic poker festival. We look forward to building a close partnership with GGPoker and growing our event.”
