Playing in the $1,000,000 guaranteed GGMillion$ is a dream for many online poker players. The $10,000-entry weekly event is the playground of big-league players such as Artur Martirosian, Ole Schemion and Niklas Astedt. As we found out, however, it’s just as attainable as a dream to win for players who play $100 buy-in events or even less as it is poker’s elite.
A Series with Poker History
The $10,000 buy-in GGMillion$ has been a big part of online players’ schedules for over two years. After initially being hosted by Randy ‘Nanonoko’ Lew and Kevin ‘RotterdaM’ van der Kooi and is now presented by GGPoker Global Ambassador Jeff Gross and a different co-commentator every week.
Playing in the GGPoker GGMillion$ isn’t simply a case of buying in for $10,000. You can qualify for the event for a lot less on GGPoker, and in recent months, winners have turned $100 satellite entries into a top prize of over a quarter of a million dollars. That’s because no matter how many entries, there’s always a $1 million prizepool guaranteed. Yes, each and every week.
Over the many weeks of GGMillion$ Season 2, that has led to some amazing stories, with each week’s drama streamed for free on the GGPoker YouTube channel. Jeff Gross – and his co-host – break down the action, offer pre-match odds on the nine players to make the final table and even bring you some of the action from previous weeks to help you make up your mind who is going to win.
In each YouTube stream that goes out, GGPoker also award a prize of either $50 or $100 to whoever can guess the winner, with the victor receiving their funds directly into their GGPoker accounts. From those winnings, it’s not just possible but plausible that you could run up the $100 win for instance into a ticket to the $10,000 GGMillion$ Main Event itself. Win the GGMillion$ for a free $100 ticket? That’s life-changing money for guessing one player from nine who wins an online final table.
