The 2024 U.S. Poker Open (USPO) begins today and with a raft of great tournaments on the horizon, some of poker’s finest are selling stakes in their buy-ins ahead of the action. Who can you invest in, and which events could see you bag the best returns? It’s time we looked at which legends are on sale on the official PokerStake U.S. Poker Open staking page.
Little Provides Big Value at Zero Markup
We can’t kick off with anyone ahead of Jonathan Little. After winning both Event #3 and Event #8 of the 2024 PokerGO Cup, Little scored a remarkable victory, taking home the overall PokerGO Championship with two outright wins and four cashes meaning a take-home treasure chest of over $730,000 in winnings.
That result apart, Little is a great player to back, with a record of remarkable consistency at the felt to go with his ever-evolving game. This is largely due to his finger-on-the-pulse training and poker writing side careers. These have been extremely lucrative for the American but anyone who sleeps on his tournament record is wildly out of whack. Little’s $8.89 million in live tournament results according to The Hendon Mob are ultimately what make him a standout performer.
Selling to Events #3 through #8 with no markup whatsoever, Little represents excellent value and if he performs like he did in January and reaches final tables of the USPO events with the frequency he did in the PokerGO Cup, you’re going to make a lot of profit. Be quick, however, Little’s packages are selling out fast, with over $40% of some bullets already gone. Don’t miss out!
Femme Fatales for Final Tables
Two superb female players are standout picks for events in the 2024 USPO too. Cherish Andrews has sold to dozens of packages over the past six months alone and the 2023 GPI Female Player of the Year has been imperious at the tournament felt. Selling from the opening event to Event #8, Andrews is available mostly at almost no markup, with her packages ranging from 1.00 to 1.10.
Another female player selling at the higher end of that markup amount is Andrews’ fellow American, Victoria Livschitz, a.k.a. ‘Trekker’. Blazing a trail in this year’s PokerGO Tour Last Chance and Kick Off series, cashing three times for PokerStake investors, Livschitz is something of an under-the-radar performer.
Coming between 5th and 7th in three events in January inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA, Livschitz is selling two bullets to the opening event, three to the second tournament and two to Event #3, with packages available through all eight events. Both Livschitz and Andrews are great bets to return money on your investment if you back them in all events they’re selling to.
Classic American Heroes
There are some classic U.S. poker heroes on offer across a variety of events at the 2024 U.S. Poker Open. David Coleman is one of them, selling at between 1.10 and 1.13 for Events #2, #3 and #5 at present, with other packages likely to be added later in the series for keen-eyed followers. Coleman’s record in 2024 is frankly ridiculous with $1.5m earned in tournaments in 2024 alone, including two PGT Kick Off event wins.
Brock Wilson is currently selling to just Events #6 and #7 but could hardly come with a better reputation, especially in PGT events. The PokerGO Studio has been a second home to Wilson in recent years, especially under the lights at final tables. With over $7 million in live tournament earnings at the age of just 29, Wilson has cashed 15 times in 2024, with three final table appearances in the PokerGO Cup for over $216,000 in winnings.
Finally, but by no means last on the list in tournament terms, Aram Zobian has crushed live poker in the past two years in particular and is available at between 1.02 and 1.10 for every event on the schedule. In the past 14 months, Zobian’s wins in Poker Masters, PokerGO Cup and USPO events has been astonishing. He’s one of the biggest stars of the game right now and can’t be missed.
With all these players selling to the 2024 USPO on the official PokerStake U.S. Poker Open staking page, you can’t sleep on the value but you can do whatever you like as you watch potential winnings come in from the comfort of your home. The action is about to begin… the only question is: who do you want a piece of?
