The World Series of Poker is already underway in Europe at King’s Casino, the continent’s biggest poker room which is located in Rozvadov. The town, which sits on the border between Germany and the Czech Republic is home to all this month’s WSOP bracelet events, and with thousands of players in the action, you can invest in the best only on PokerStake. Who’ll win big? We have five favorites for you to sweat at the felt!
ElkY Excitement in GGMILLION$ and Main Event
Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier is perhaps the biggest name so far other than Daniel Negreanu to sell pieces of his action on PokerStake and the French poker legend has put percentages of his buy-ins on offer in two of the biggest events on the tour. ElkY is selling action to Event #8, the €25,000-entry No Limit Hold’em GGMILLION$ events at no markup, with 5% of the 33% he’s selling already gone.
ElkY is also selling 19% of his action in the €10,350-entry WSOP Europe Main Event, which begins this Friday, November 10th. Also at no mark-up, ElkY’s Main Event package is going to be hot property and is close to selling out, so invest quickly if you want a piece of the man who has so far won just under $15 million in live poker tournaments.
Jessica Tesul Repping the Ladies
Female players don’t come much better than the Austrian former WSOP bracelet winner Jessica Teusl. Having already won gold on the WSOP, Teusl is going to be a major threat in Rozvadov, and hot on the heels of Sokratis Linaras’ stunning victory in the Mini Main Event could have a very profitable second half of the festival. Teusl has cashed in three events in October alone.
Selling action to Events #8, #9, #11, #13 and #15, Teusl is selling at between no markup at all and 1.25 markup, with her self-perceived edge strongest in the €1,100-entry Mystery Bounty Event #9. Event #15 is the NLH Closer event, so it is clear that Teusl is in it for the long haul… and you can be a part of it if you get in quickly.
Other Star Buys on WSOPE Roster
Italian sensation Max Pescatori will be a major threat in Event #10 on the schedule, the €2,000-entry 8-Game Mix, to which he is selling three bullets worth of action at markup of 1.40, 1.30 and 1.27 in respect to bullets one, two and three. Pescatori is selling 20% of the first bullet, and 30% of the next two should you wish to invest, with the Italian also selling out of his action to the Bounty Hunter NLHE Event #11 on the ticket.
Michael Acevedo is going to be a big threat in the Main Event and his package reflects this, with a markup of 1.40 on 40% of his €10,350 entry fee. Acevedo, who hails from Costa Rica, cashed five times in live and online events during the summer WSOP in Las Vegas or online at WSOP.com. German professional Rainer Kempe is also selling action but this time in the €50,000 No Limit Hold’em Diamond High Roller. Putting up 40% of action, Kempe has already started selling action, and is doing so at a markup of 1.04.
With events continuing well into next week, the World Series of Poker Europe could yet provide you with that sweetest of feelings – a big cash in a WSOP bracelet event… without you even needing to set foot in the cardroom.
