Ali Imisrovic has done it again at the PokerGO Cup. Just days after taking down Event #2 ($10,000 NLHE), Imsirovic topped the 49 other entries in Event #4 ($15,000 NLHE) to win his second PokerGO Cup title, $240,000, and grab a stranglehold on the leaderboard.
After coming to the final table with just eight big blinds, David Coleman spent the first 12 minutes of play treading water before his exit. Coleman moved all in for 145,000 with 
and Daniel Weinand called from the button with 
and both blinds folded. The 
runout wasn’t able to save Coleman from a sixth place finish. Coleman now has two PokerGO Cup final table appearances. He finished fourth in Event #1 ($10,000 NLHE).
After doubling up Weinand one hand earlier, Mo Rahim was the next player to hit the rail. With blinds of 15,000/30,000 (30,000 ante), Alex Foxen raised to 60,000 with and Rahim moved all in for 325,000 from his direct left with 
and Foxen called. Rahim was doing just fine through the 
flop and turn but was dealt a knockout blow when the 
hit the river. Rahim finished in fifth place and also has two PokerGO Cup final table appearances after bowing out of Event #2 ($10,000 NLHE) in fourth place.
Down to four players, Imsirovic went to work. Weinand opened the betting, raising to 80,000 with 
. Imsirovic called with 
before Foxen moved all in for 1,250,000 with . Weinand folded but Imsirovic called. The board ran out 
to give Imsirovic the pot and end Foxen’s run in fourth place to go with his victory in Event #1 ($10,000 NLHE).
It took 40 minutes to go from three-handed to heads up and once again it was Imsirovic doing the dirty work. Imsirovic opened to 385,000 from the small blind with 
before Jordan Cristos moved all in for 335,000 total with [6d. Imsirovic connected with the 
flop. The turn was no help for Cristos and neither was the river and he was out in third place.
Imsirovic had a 3-1 lead over Weinand when heads up play began. It took 40 minutes – and an iconic hand – for Imsirovic to gather all of the chips in play. Imsirovic limped with 
and Weinand checked his option with 
. The flop came and Weinand threw out a bet of 60,000 and Imsirovic called. The turn was the 
and Weinand bet 175,000. Imsirovic raised to 700,000 and Weinand used a time bank before re-raising to 1,600,000. Imsirovic moved all in and Weinand called all in with his last 735,000. The river missed Weinand’s straight draw to eliminate Weinand and give Imsirovic a second PokerGO Cup title.
Imsirovic now leads the PokerGO Cup leaderboard with 423 points. Event #3 winner Dylan Linde is in second with 255 points while Foxen rounds out the top three with 253 points.
The final table of Event #5 ($25,000 NLHE) includes Daniel Negreanu, Stephen Chidwick, and David Peters all chasing chip leader Jake Schindler. Action gets underway on PokerGO at 1 PM PT.
