It was a pretty high-scoring week on the major daily fantasy sports sites. It seems like a bundle of players had multiple visits to the end zone and it took a massive score of 276.46 points for 1DontTryThisAtHome1to take down the DraftKings Millionaire Maker. Here was his winning lineup:
QB: Ben Roethlisberger – 36.86 points
RB: Buck Allen – 38.00 points
RB: DeAngelo Williams – 23.50 points
WR: Antonio Brown – 40.80 poins
WR: Martavis Bryant – 24.40 points
WR: Jeremy Maclin – 29.50 points
TE: Scott Chandler – 16.10 points
FLEX: Allen Robinson – 46.30 points
DEF: Steelers – 21.00 points
As you can see, 1DontTryThisAtHome1 used five players from the Steelers, including the quarterback, top two wide receivers, running back, and defense. Luckily for the new millionaire, Pittsburgh stomped Indianapolis. Big Ben threw for four touchdowns, Brown caught two of them, and Bryant caught one. Williams didn’t score, but still racked up 134 rushing yards for over 23 points.
As far as his non-Steelers went, Buck Allen continued to roll, piling up 12 catches as Matt Schaub’s safety value. Jeremy Maclin found the end zone twice against Oakland, while Scott Chandler went 4-61-1 for the Patriots. Allen Robinson roasted the Titans’ secondary for three touchdowns and was 1DontTryThisAtHome1’s high scorer.
1DontTryThisAtHome1 won by exactly five points over second place in the Millionaire Maker. He had a sweat on Monday night because cwebb30, who eventually finished in fourth place and lost out by six points, had the Redskins’ defense against Dallas, but couldn’t take the lead.
DraftKings has a special NFL Millionaire Maker this week that has a buy-in of $3 and a top prize of $1 million. This contest will have close to one million entries, so best of luck if you enter. It’s about 10% full right now.
