Texas player benvo123had a third place finish good for $52k, followed by noirduckin 4th for $40,700. Mike shipitthiswayMcNeil walked away with $22.6k for his 6th place finish and Todd tbt4653Terry earned $11.3k for 8th.
The $100 rebuy 6-max on PokerStarshad three P5ers at its final table this week, led by JERRRY, an Illinois player who finished in third place for $18,000. Also hailing from Illinois is Chris LUHMANMartin, who earned $12.5k for placing 4th, followed by Poland's gburst, who earned $9.3k for taking fifth.
Four PocketFives.com members reached Monday's Nightly Hundred Grand tournament on PokerStars, led by gp333 who outlasted 913 other players to capture a victory and the $24.8k top prize. Placing runner-up for $17.8k was 86th ranked player DeMaci, who just last month had a 2nd place finish in the Sunday Million for $198,800. Michael Bonzo9876Katz finished 6th this week for $5.6k and smerkshad a 9th place performance, good for $1,700.
Seven PocketFives members reached Tuesday's $100 rebuy on PokerStars, led by Jeff jp4estForrest (left) of Orlando, FL, who outlasted 353 other players to win this event and a $26.7k bankroll boost. New Jersey player dankness3finished 3rd this week for just over $15k, followed by Hixxin 4th for $11.5k and Gigabetin 6th for $7,800. Other notable finishes include the_Hunt_D(7th for $6.1k), Akat11(8th for $4.8k) and seijistar(9th for $3.4k).
Tuesday's Nightly Hundred Grand event on PokerStars had four P5ers at its final table. Minnesota player rwestywas the top finisher, outlasting 954 player and winning this tournament for $25,900. Tim dufchipsClare of Australia finished 5th this week for $7.3k, his largest online score to date. Thirty-seventh ranked player xMONSTERxDONGxearned $3.1k for 7th and Falfarisplaced 9th for $1,800.
The $100k Guarantee on Full Tilt Poker had 430 entrants on Wednesday. This is a $100 rebuy 6-max tournament, usually attracting some of the top tournament professionals and known to be one of the toughest weekly tournaments. Four P5s members reached this week's final table, led by MrSmokey1of Canada, who won this event outright for $39.6k. YoungSupremacyfinished runner-up for $26.1k in his 2nd major final table this week. Jordan Jymaster0011Young of Michigan finished in 3rd for $18.9k while xCappucinoX1walked away with just over $14k for his 4th place showing.
The Quarter Million on PokerStars had 926 entrants this week. Six P5s members made this final table, led by Triple Crownwinner Big Huni, who won this event outright and walked away with the $50.2k top prize, est online score to date. UB.comheld its Sniper $80k Guaranteed tournament on Wednesday. This is a $200+15 buy-in event with a $20 bounty on each player. Three P5s members reached this final table, led 67th ranked player Philipp philbortGruissem (right), who outlasted 441 other players to win this tournament and the $20k top prize. In January '10, this player also was victorious in UB.com's UBOC #8 event for $219,800. Squintngofinished 6th in this week's event for $4k and steponuplaced 8th for $2.4k.
Eight P5ers reached the final table of the $150k Guaranteed tournament, which is a $1,000+50 buy-in event. This week 188 players entered this tournament when play reached heads-up, P5s members PokerKaiserand D Rodecided to chop the remaining $80k in prizes, however the exact numbers are unknown. Just missing the chop was amak316, who finished third for just over $22k, followed by a2steaksaucein 4th for $17,800. Illinois player jdpc27, who is currently ranked #100 in online tournament play, finished 6th in this week's event and pocketed $11.2k for his finish.
