Las Vegas Awaits PGT PLO Series and WSOP Circuit Staking Stars

Sin City hosts two packed poker festivals in the next fortnight as the PokerGO Tour resumes at pace with the PLO Series and the World Series of Poker welcomes circuit players to the Horseshoe Las Vegas. Across both series, there are some terrific players selling action on PokerStake and we’ve got the scoop on who you should invest in and why.

PLO Series Looks Set for Further Success

After the stunning success of the PokerGO Tour Mixed Games Series III which was won by Max Hoffman, PokerGO have barely drawn breath before being back in action on the Las Vegas Strip. The PokerGO Studio will welcome players who love Pot Limit Omaha to ten events in the ‘four card game’ format, with the PGT PLO Series taking place between March 20 and 29 at the ARIA Resort & Casino.

Also taking place this month is the WSOP Circuit stop at the Horseshoe Las Vegas. The perfect warm-up for players looking to familiarize themselves with the venue for so much drama at this year’s World Series of Poker, the Horseshoe is the home of the live-streamed WSOP final tables this summer. Fire in the series and who knows, it might act as a warm-up for the World Series action in Sin City this summer.

With the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe series starting on March 21 and ending on April Fools Day, April 1, the fortnight of poker action in both locations will run virtually concurrently, with only a couple of extra days at the end of the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe series after the conclusion of the PokerGO Tour PLO Series. Players of huge reputation are selling packages to both events.

Pot Limit Omaha Heroes

The PokerGO Tour PLO Series is sure to interest some of the best players in the world, and as attendances showed throughout the Mixed Games Series III action, the fields are going to be fantastic. One player who is looking forward to the action is the Canadian poker legend Daniel Negreanu… if the Triton Poker Series is anything to go by, that is!

Kid Poker isn’t the only star to be taking part. Jeremy Ausmus (pictured above) is committed to playing Event #9 at the very least and is selling at a markup of 1.20 for the first bullet and 1.11 for the second bullet in the $26,000-entry PLO Championship. It’s a huge event and Ausmus, who has one of the strongest records in the PokerGO Studio, is a great pick for at least one bullet.

Taking part in – and selling action to – Events #2 and #7 is David Coleman. The $7,500 PLO Bounty event has two bullets up for grabs and so too does the $15,000 PLO Progressive Bounty event, with markup for both events being sold by Coleman at a markup ranging from 1.05 to 1.10. Coleman is another bona fide superstar of the high roller circuit. Plenty of his $4.6 million in live tournament earnings have come in high roller events, and he might be the most in-form player at the series, with an astonishing 11 cashes in 2024 alone.

Circuit Stars Line Up in Las Vegas

The WSOP Circuit live tour stops in the gambling capital of the world this month as one of the two WSOP venues, the Horseshoe Las Vegas, hosts events such as the $600-entry Event #1, the ‘Big $30k Stack’ tournament right up to Event #18, the $250 buy-in Turbo Event to close the series on April 1st.

Selling to a number of events is Allen ‘Chainsaw’ Kessler, a regular on the World Series of Poker circuit tour and of course the main WSOP in Las Vegas every summer. Chainsaw will be hoping to cut through the opposition and is selling up to 50% in several events. He’s not the only one, with the Global Poker Index Female Player of the Year Cherish Andrews already sold out to several events and for good reason.

Donnie Peters has sold out for the $1,700 buy-in Main Event (Event #16 on the schedule), but may sell again in the series, so keep your eyes peeled to our official WSOP Circuit Horseshoe staking page. Joey Gargiulo is selling up to 50% in the same event, and at a markup of 1.20. Serial WSOP casher Roland Israelashvili is selling to events such as the Main Event too, with his markup 1.08, while Stephanie Wang is selling at no markup at all (1.00) to Event #6, the $600-entry Monster Stack event.
