Former World Poker Tour (WPT) Bellagio Cup champion Kevin BeL0WaB0Ve Saul was up to his winning ways once again in the 2010 PokerStarsSpring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP). Saul blasted through the field of a $2,100 No Limit Hold’em Cubed tournament and collected $196,000 according to the PokerStars Blog following a three-way chop. Amazingly, the cash wasn’t Saul’s largest online. That distinction came after the Illinois native finished third in the 2009 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) High-Roller event for $337,000. The final table of the $2,100 Cubed contest, the 31st on the SCOOP schedule, was packed with members of the online poker community.
Heads-up, Saul bested Adam Squee451Sherman (pictured at left), who has made PokerStars his personal playground as of late. Sherman won the high-stakes version of Event #22, $3,150 No Limit Hold’em Four-Max, for $210,000. Last month, he came out on top in the PokerStars Sunday 500 for $89,000. He sits at #22 worldwide in the prestigious PocketFives.com Online Poker Rankings on the coattails of the 13th largest PLB score.
